Stroller Made in USA

Almost all strollers are made in China, but there are a few that are proudly labeled as Made in USA. One such brand is Pip & Grow, which makes adorable baby bassinets that are both designed and manufactured in the US. The company’s Moses boxes use a simple cardboard surround with a 1″ thick CertiPUR-US certified foam mattress, offering a stylish alternative to more complicated and expensive bassinets on the market.

Another US-based manufacturer is Britax, which offers a variety of stroller styles including lightweight jogging strollers with SmoothShox suspension and air-filled tires that can tackle rough roads and gravel paths. Their strollers also feature an easy-to-use braking system and a generous storage basket that can hold all of your gear. Their high-quality products come with a limited lifetime warranty and are designed to be used from birth through toddler years.

The most well-known car seat and stroller maker is Maxi-Cosi, which boasts that their infant car seats have safely carried more than 60 million babies home from the hospital. Their reputation for safety and quality carry over into their stroller systems, which offer a wide range of options and can fit many car seat brands and models. They aren’t the cheapest option on this list, but their meticulous design and durability make them a smart investment.

Other stroller companies such as UPPAbaby and Cybex are known for pushing the envelope with innovation, style, and functionality. Their strollers are sold a la carte so you can build your perfect ride with the accessories that best suit your needs. Their strollers have sleek designs that aren’t afraid to challenge the homogenous look of most other baby products and their ease-of-use scores are among the highest in our tests.

Graco is another company that offers strollers made in the USA, but their car seats are produced overseas. They did have a good showing in our recent car seat and stroller comparison test with the Graco Snap n Go earning a respectable score for its ability to quickly attach to the base and its strong frame. The company’s lowest-rated stroller, the Litemax DLX, was designed in the USA but is made in China. This is a common practice in the industry, as most manufacturers outsource their car seat manufacturing.

Another American-made stroller is the Safety 1st RIVA Travel System, which earned our highest mark for design and ease of use. We love that this stroller was designed in the USA (though the Litemax DLX car seat is made in China) and is built to reduce landfill waste by using recycled materials and using the same manufacturing molds for both the car seat and stroller frame. This stroller can be used from birth to toddler age and can be paired with a variety of car seats and even a kid board. The only drawback is that it is a bit heavier than most of the strollers on this list and has a smaller basket than some other options.
