There are so many stroller options out there that it’s easy to get overwhelmed. You’ve got jogging strollers, traditional strollers, city strollers, double strollers, and even wagons. Plus, you’ve got travel and lightweight strollers that promise to be the best in their class but also ring up a pretty penny.
So when a friend told me she’d just bought the PIPA urbn + TRIV next travel system ($1,100) from Nuna, I was intrigued. Inspired by the ingenuity of Dutch design, Nuna creates thoughtful solutions for every stage of baby and child life with innovative car seats, strollers and more. Their products meet or exceed world standards and are tested by independent, accredited labs.
Our product tester loved the lightweight capability, how smooth it rides and the undercarriage storage, but she wasn’t crazy about that the TRVL doesn’t offer the option to turn the seat around to face forward. That’s a big deal since most parents want to do that at some point, especially when their baby is in a rear-facing infant car seat.
