A Baby Stroller Jeep Is Ideal For All-Terrain Adventures

For families who are planning to take their kids on outdoor adventures this year, consider a baby stroller jeep as your main mode of transportation. This versatile stroller wagon offers the functionality of a stroller and the rugged durability of a wagon, making it ideal for all family outings. It can seat one or two kids and even converts to a double stroller for toddlers. The Jeep TurboGlyde 2-in-1 Stroller Wagon by Delta Children can be used from infant to toddler and beyond as your child grows, with a reclining toddler seat, swing-out kid bar and oversized canopy that blocks the sun.

The Jeep has a boxy wagon shape, car seat adapters, and a large storage area that can hold the seats and some groceries. Its back tires are all-terrain and the front wheels can swivel and turn, making it easy to maneuver. The canopy folds down over the seats and the handles can fold up or down. The wagon can fit into a trunk of most cars, and when folded, it takes up less room than the average stroller.

However, it didn’t perform well in our grass maneuverability test or hill and bumpy terrain tests. When fully loaded, the Jeep is heavy and difficult to move in rough conditions. In addition, the swivel front wheels can veer off center easily when turning. Its tires are 1.3” wide in the front and 2” wide in the rear, which makes them narrower than most other stroller wagons. The wheels can also get stuck in sand or soft soil.

Like other stroller wagons, the Jeep has a flat inner surface for kids to sit on and a small footwell for their feet. However, it lacks a snack tray for the kids and a parent cup holder. It also has a bar behind the seats that kids can kick with their feet and no rear wiper.

The highest-scoring stroller wagon, the Veer Cruiser, is more expensive than the Jeep but it has better performance in all our testing categories and includes a lot of features that make it worth the investment. It is also easier to maneuver and has a bigger, more spacious interior. The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is another high-scoring stroller wagon with a boxy wagon shape and a great storage compartment. It has a built-in umbrella but doesn’t offer as many features as the Jeep or Veer Cruiser. It also doesn’t have a flat inner surface for kids to sit in or a large, deep footwell for the seats.
